Maybelline Lash Sensational Primer

Hello Beauty Lovers!

I've been using this Maybelline Lash Sensational Primer everyday for a while now and I'm really impressed with it - from first use I knew I wanted to blog about it. 

I've talked a lot about mascara here on the blog recently, so apologies if you're sick of it!

I wouldn't normally bother with a mascara primer because to me it feels like an unnecessary step, but as I love the Lash Sensational Mascara so much, I knew I needed to try this out. Paired together they are my dynamic duo! 

The brush is a nice size - even though it's quite big, it's still small enough to use on your bottom lashes. It's loaded with product so you can really cover all your lashes, I also like to use the tip of the brush to add extra product to areas that look a little sparse. The consistency is quite thick, so you can build up layers quickly and add volume but it's not gloopy or sticky.

I was sceptical as I've used lash primers in the past and not been that impressed, so I was wondering how this one would be any different. I'm yet to try it with other mascaras, but it really amps up the volume when paired with the Lash Sensational. 

This is just two coats of the primer.

These are just iPhone photos as I was doing my make up and thought I'd take some impromptu photos just in case.

I'm really impressed with it and now it's included in my everyday make up routine!
