Today's post, as promised, is about what's in the Smashbox Try It Kit Best Sellers.
I've had a kit like this before, but I think it included an eyeliner and a different eyeshadow primer and a lipgloss instead of the eyeshadow trio.
As they're miniatures, it's a great way to try out the products. The Photo Finish Primer (full size) is about £25 alone. It's excellent as I've had the miniature before but I still don't think I can bring myself to pay that much for a primer! I'm sure I'll cave soon.This isn't so much a review- more of a show without the tell.
In the kit, you get the:
- Eyeshadow Trio (neutral brown tones).
- 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer.
- Full Exposure Mascara.
- Photo Finish Foundation Primer.
Eyeshadow Trio
I haven't used any of these yet, although I have used the foundation primer and the mascara in the past.These eyeshadows don't seem too pigmented but I'm hoping the shadow primer will help with that.
Full Exposure Mascara
The last time I used it, I remember the Full Exposure Mascara being one to add volume as opposed to length or definition.
24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer
It's quite a thick consistency, so I think it'll create a lovely base for eyeshadows.
Photo Finish Foundation Primer
This is a silicone texture that glides over the skin, filling in pores and fine lines and creating a smooth base for foundation or concealer.
